Griffin Park
Griffin Park offers a wealth of recreational activities with a skate park, eight tennis courts, a baseball field, swimming pool, sand volleyball court, disc golf, walking trails, historical sites, boat ramps, fishing and a campground. It is also the starting point for the Pierre Riverwalk/bicycle path which continues upriver through Steamboat Park.

Oahe Downstream Recreation Area
With three campgrounds located on-site, the Oahe Downstream Recreation Area is a popular destination for fishing, boating, hiking, birding and more. Bald eagles call this park home from November to March as they nest in the trees near the water. The park features a nine-hole disc golf course, and OHV area, archery range and shooting ranges.
